Everyone remembers their first computer, just like they remember their first car. Most probably do not remember the exact technical specifications, but they’ll remember the odd noises it made and the off-putty color that was on the outside of the hard plastic case. Perhaps even the toxic odors that would emanate from it when left on for too long.
Well I certainly remember mine: it had a 386DX 33MHz processor and sported 4MB of RAM. It cost several thousand dollars back in 1990, 5.25″ floppy drive included. The next one a few years later had a 850MB hard drive, 90MHz processor and 16MB of RAM. Then 450MHz/128MB RAM/9GB HDD, etc. The things were getting multitudes faster and capable of storing loads more data each time. Nowadays an average computer could store about 10,000x more data than what one could in 1990. Things sure have come a long way in just a tad over twenty years.
What do you do with all of this data storage nowadays? Most people fill up their drives with music, image, and video media these days. But for those who are looking for ways to be productive at work or with cataloging stuff at home or with a website, you’ll need robust applications that help you track what you need to track, help you publish what you want the world to see. And then there’s also help needed with keeping things running optimally and setting up networks that will remain secure, yet accessible. Backing up all of that precious information. We can help you do all of that.
